Mission Critical website
The Mission Critical website was really useful! I wish I knew about this website when we first started the class! I liked that it had an outline of links for different types of arguments and fallacies. It was easy to locate a subject and then read about it. I thought each link was very useful to reinforcing the subjects we already learned and helped me understand some of the subjects that I didn’t really comprehend. I also like that it was interactive. Most of the links had exercises that directly told you the answers to the questions. If the answer was correct it showed why it was correct. If it was incorrect it described why you were incorrect. I found that very useful because most of these concepts are not hard but tricky. The explanations of why they are wrong are really helpful especially since this an online class and there’s not someone else to refer to.
Ahh, I agree! I wish we had this website in the beginning of the semester when we were still learning about everything! I also agree that the interactive-ness of the website with those questions helped out a lot. I felt that their explanations were straightforward, and not around the bush...unlike the textbook, which I felt handles some subjects too casually. For sure I remember when we were learning about fallacies of emotional, and the book made me so confused, I almost threw it out my window. Haha (good thing I didn’t.) The website explained it a lot better in some aspects. It explained a lot of concepts well, actually. :)
ReplyDeleteHey! I am glad that you like this website because I found that the website was pretty interesting as well and the outlines were very useful. It was very easy to use and the concepts were clearly explained. The exercises were a good interactive way to actually learn and apply the concept that we learned. I really love the fact that they told us why the answers were wrong and why it was right. That part was helpful because it helped me see why it was wrong. I kind of wish that this website was introduced to us earlier in the year, but its okay. It will be helpful to study for the final!!
